How/where are Scrumptious Buns cupcakes made?
All cupcakes are handmade in our own kitchen. We don’t use any industrial equipment whatsoever; all the cakes and icing is made in small batches. It takes longer but it tastes better.
Can you do me a special design/theme/colour?
Yes! We bake and decorate cakes fresh for every order, so custom decorations or themed selections are no problem -they are our speciality!
How long do Scrumptious Buns cupcakes keep for?
Not long! But if you do want to save some for later, they’ll stay fresh for a day or two in their box, or up to 3-4 days in an airtight container. We always recommend eating them as soon as possible though.
Do your cakes contain nuts?
We do use nuts in our kitchen and cannot guarantee the other varieties are free from traces of nuts.
Can you supply organic/wheat free/gluten free/dairy free cupcakes?
We do not currently offer any free-from alternatives, although all our cupcakes are vegetarian-friendly. All our ingredients are organic and fairtrade wherever possible and we only use Free Range eggs.
Where do you deliver to?
Scrumptious Buns cupcakes are very fragile and need to be hand-delivered or collected. We generally hand deliver within the Norwich area for a small cost, but are happy to discuss delivery outside these areas.
Soon, our cupcakes will be available by mailorder Nationwide, it's only fair after all!
How much does delivery cost?
The cost of delivery varies depending on your location. In the event of us having to use a courier we only ever charge for actual delivery costs, and nothing more.
How far ahead do I need to order?
At least three days in advance is our preferred minimum, although we do get very busy (especially at weekends) so the earlier you’re able to confirm the more chance there is that we can accommodate your order. For wedding orders it is advisable to give us as much notice as possible.
How do I place an order?
Simply email or call us with an idea of what you’d like and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
How do I pay for my order?
For minimum orders of 12 large cupcakes or 24 mini cupcakes, payment can be made via a secure PayPal invoice, which I shall email to you.
For larger orders, weddings, special occasions, bespoke service, etc. a deposit of 30% will be asked for in advance, then final balance payable by secure PayPal invoice 2 weeks prior to event. Payment can be made by cheque/cash if convenient and preferred.
Can I order less than the minimum amount?
Unfortunately not, as the large cupcakes are made in batches of 12 and the minis in batches of 24.
